A artistic rendering of the crucifix stands on the lawn of Campus Lutheran Church on College Avenue.  The design, created by Rod Beacher, 60, of Columbia, was created for the church’s observation of Lent, and will be replaced by an image of a “risen” Christ around Easter time.  It is the third consecutive year the church has displayed the artwork during Lent.

Anand S. Khan, a pre-Journalism student in his junior year at MU, re-stocks construction paper in the Pershing area lounge on Thursday.  The area is a campus resource for MU’s RA’s and PA’s to create posters and artwork to promote campus events and issues in and around the campus’ residence halls.

MU students look on as supporters of Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton wave campaign signs to passing cars in Columbia on monday. Senator Clinton and democratic opponent Barack Obama ran a hotly contested campaign running up to this week's super tuesday primaries, which failed to establish a clear front-runner for the democratic nomination. Obama narrowly edged Clinton in Missouri, but both candidates are expected to split the state's delegates.
